I think Treacle would agree that these stockings are too long for this woman having had to fold the welt down so she could attach her garter straps to them. Is this a fashion faux pas or does it matter?

What is going on there at her right thigh. Looks like a photo edit that wasn't completed or something. I would vote "doesn't matter" but then I'm not usually a stickler for details.
