Looking vulnerable and sexy Wanilianna continues her "A Life in Ruins" series. Some great images to be had.
This theme and the setting is a long-time dream of mine. I find abandoned places fascinating. You drive past an abandoned farm house or factory and you wonder about the lives lived in these places. The hopes and dreams that grew from them and the tragic stories that led to their demise. The lighting, the texture of the broken down remnants of the interior and exterior spaces offer many opportunities for photography.
As a special treat I offer one of my attempts to express a moment in time. This was taken at the
Waterloo Buskers Festival and I was trying to capture the intensity of the
street artist's craft while emphasizing the use of colour in his work.
I would be interested to know which photograph is your favourite and why.
