One of the things I like about this blog is I get to meet some pretty cool and passionate people online. A lot of bloggers, such as I, are content movers and pushers. Sadly, other than my writing (which I do all to infrequently), I do not have the opportunity to photograph anyone for my blog. Would LOVE to do so but in the near future that is not in the cards though that may change in the future.
So I have to content myself with admiring (read perv) other people's blogs and tumblrs and enjoy their set of unique tastes and sources of images.
But once in a while you meet someone unique and passionate and living a dream I wish I could be more active in. I have been involved in kink and fetishes for almost a decade and I am so pleased and amazed at how open and sharing most of these fine people are.
Well, today I have a treat for you. Wanilianna has consented to answer 10 questions from me. I know, I know, she has been featured here many times but I adore her images and her passion. Someone that takes the time to blog and share their images is to be commended and Wanilianna is so kind to consent to take the time to participate. So thank you Wanilianna!
1. Q: As a warm up question: What was your favourite flavour of ice cream?
A: VANILLA, OF COURSE. I like the nut flavour too.
Q: Q: When did you start blogging and what motivated you to create a blog?
A: I started blogging last year, in September. My intention was to promote the special style of life – women wearing nylons, high heels, garters, waist chinchers and many others. I wanted to say one big NO PASARAN to the pantyhose.
2. Q: You have an obvious interest in retro lingerie. What are your influences in this genre?
A: I’ll be happy if at least one woman change her mind and start to live the lifestyle I’m promoting. I want to show the women, that pantyhose and trousers/pants don’t match the real “lady”.
3. Q: What characteristics of a photographer inspire you?
A: I like to cooperate with photographers/artists who prefer some kind of “kinky” photos. Fetish photography is my favourite one, and I always try to work with people who feel the subject the same way as I do.
4. Q: As a subject of a photographer's lens how do you impart emotion in your images?
A: I am myself. I never play any role. I do what I want, what I feel. I never had to pretend anybody in the front of the lens. To be photographed in nylons- that’s my biggest dream, which still comes true.
5. Q: Was it difficult for you to feel free enough to pose in lingerie?
A: As you can see on the photos, not at allJ. I have somebody who gives me his support all the timeJ
6. Q: I think you have a compelling presence in your photographs. Do you feel connected to the photographer and the other people in the images and how do you obtain that?
A: I always try to work with people who I like as a person. I suppose I couldn’t pretend anything in the front of the camera. I’m not such a good actress.
7. Q: How do you feel before a shoot?
A: A little nervous, but in the good way. I like the moments before the shooting finally begins.
8. Q: How do you feel after a shoot?
A: Fullfilled and (most of the time) happy.
9. Q: If there was one piece of advice or wisdom you could share with aspiring models what would it be?
A: Don’t be shy and always do what you feel that best fits you. Make your dreams come true. There are no bad models, there are only poor photographers!
